With limited room to grow passenger numbers at Schiphol Airport, Transavia turned its attention to delivering more value to existing customers. The key question became: what can they offer beyond the flight from A to B?
Transavia uses local tips, from great restaurants to must-do activities, to stay engaged with passengers after they land. By sharing crew recommendations, the airline adds a personal and trustworthy layer to the customer journey which also opens up new revenue opportunities through affiliate links and advertising.

WHAT DID THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
Transavia Tips was the first-ever white-label app created using the GoHere platform, launched in late 2019. As a pilot project, it required building and refining many elements from the ground up. Several weeks of testing followed, during which key improvements were made to the technology, user experience, and design.
